Mission And Vision

Our Mission

Many individuals are hesitant to engage in mental health counseling, for fear of being stigmatized or judged. Human nature is the same around the world and pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. Learning that you are valuable and that you matter is what I Matter Counseling & Empowerment Services are.

Trauma Focused Therapy and other evidenced-based modalities are initiated when the individual's brain is healthy enough to process negative events. Increasing protective factors such as improved sleep, diet, and exercise are proven methods to increase brain functioning. We focus on healthy lifestyle and work along-side you to teach and support your wellness journey.

Our Vision

Healthy Relationships are what human beings need to thrive. We are teaching how to build relationship with self-first, others secondly. Who teaches these skills? Most of us are not taught how to resolve conflict, proper decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills. Improving society and making an impact one person at a time and the change will happen.

Won't YOU be a part of the change?

We learn more from what others do and not only from what is said.
